This 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo sleeps and allows 6 guests maximum.

Water Wheel Resort Condominiums sits on Guadalupe Riverfront property with 2 Pools and 4 Hot tubs!
-Sitting on the relaxing bank of the Guadalupe River you can get a 20-minute float in by walking 5 minutes over to River Acres Parks off of the Common Street Bridge, get in, and float down to the private Water Wheel Resort riverbank (make sure you’re wearing the property specific wristband!) and repeat for free all day long!
-Take advantage of the beautiful green area on property, bring some lawn chairs to sit and have a day on the riverbank with the convenience of staying on property for lunch and bathroom breaks.
-A quick 10-minute walk to the Schlitterbahn East -Blastenhoff entrance! Pack your cooler, and sunscreen, and don't have to deal with finding a parking spot!
- Walk with your tubes and cooler for about 15 minutes to Prince Solms Park/Hinman Island Park for public access to the Comal River and Tube Chute, jump in and float down to the last public exit (corner of S Union and Lincoln St) About a 2 hour float! Walk back to Water Wheel about 15 minutes!
--Take a brisk 20 minute walk to nearby restaurants or stroll further into downtown New Braunfels to enjoy more local restaurants, bars and breweries, shop in our quaint boutiques, and get strudel in the oldest bakery in Texas, Naegelin's Bakery!
- If you want to float a long portion of the Guadalupe River, we advise you to drive to Rockin R to rent THEIR tubes and use their shuttle service.
-And, Gruene, Texas with the world-famous Gruene Hall and delicious restaurants such as Gruene River Grill and The Gristmill are only a 10-minute drive away!

Places we recommend that are within a 10-20 minute walk to and from the complex:
Restaurants: Pats Place, Tin Top Burgers, Union Street Station, Muck & Fuss, New Braunfels Coffee, The Mess Around, Naegelin's Bakery, Bootlegger Pizza, Krause’s Café, McAdoos Seafood, Myrons Prime Steakhouse.
Bars/Night Life: The Oyster Bar, Calahans Pub & Pizza, Black Whale Pub, Moonshine & Ale, Phoenix Saloon, Scores Sports Bar, The Pour Haus, Downtown Social.

Must be 25 or older to book, kids are welcome with a parent/legal guardian.
Renter's ID and Credit Card must be presented to receive check-in information.
Occupancy is not to be exceeded at any time. No daytime guests are allowed.

$25/day/pet, $60 Pet Cleaning fee, $500 Pet Deposit 7-10 business days after your departure

Wristbands and Parking Passes are enforced at this property.
Each condo will receive wristbands per maximum occupancy, which must be worn at all times while on property and 2 parking passes. Renters are guaranteed 1 marked parking spot close to the front door of the condo while second-vehicle parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis anywhere unmarked on property. Overflow parking is first-come, first-served on Mather St. running parallel to the condo complex.

Security guards are enforced on premises.

Pet Friendly Rentals

While many of our properties adhere to a strict “No Pets” policy, a select number of our properties welcome dogs and are advertised as “Pet Friendly.” Any guest found with a pet in a property that is not pet friendly or approved will be required to vacate the premises without refund and with an automatic $500 fine to the credit card on file. This policy is strictly enforced as some property owners and guests have severe pet allergies and dander in a home listed as non-pet-friendly could cause serious health problems.

"We came to have fun at Schlitterbahn, the condo we stayed was super clean, everything was in working order. It was walking distance to the water park and several restaurants. We will definitely be coming back in the future.

Clean and Great location

"Great location for our family reunion. Some floated the Comal River, went to Schlitterbahn, Gristmill, and/or sat on the banks on the Guadalupe River. We were able to set up canopies and tables, corn hole set, washer set in the lower section of the units to gather for the big meal and play some games. It was hot so bring your portable fans (Dewalt is what we had) for the tables to keep yourself and loved ones cool.

New Braunfels weekend

"Overall a 4. Condo, location, and amenities were great. Our particular condo (J202) had a few problems, but more nuisance than anything that hampered our enjoyment. Master bath had very slow draining sink, and guest bath towel rack wasn't attached to wall. Only real dissappointmnt was that we stayed from Friday until Tuesday, and after the weekend, all trash cans and ash cans at BBQ grills (nice touch) very all stuffed full, and weren't emptied until our leisurely day at the pool and grilling out on Monday was surrounded by overflowing trash barrels.

We do provide guests our office and maintenance phone numbers so that the guests may contact us with any issues that arise during their stay. Maintenance would have come out to have fixed the sink and the towel rack. We will notify the HOA Property Management company and let them know that the trash cans need attention to daily in our high season, especially over the weekend.

Great place and would have given it 5 stars except one thing

"We had a great time at this Location. It was very clean and spacious, the location was perfect. It was just a short walk from the river and close to all attractions. The only thing we were not pleased with was the two loud parties going on in the condo next to ours. People screaming, taking their clothes off and acting crazy til 3 in the morning and the grounds keeper never told them to tone it down when she clearly seen what they were doing. But other than that it was great.

We may not manage either one of the units next to you, but we could have made a few phone calls, first one to WaterWheel Security and the second to NBPD for back up. There is a noise ordinance here in New Braunfels that could have been enforced. Glad to hear that everything else was great!

"Stayed two nights while floating the Guadeloupe with family. The front of the property and surrounding areas look dim, but this unit is fantastic! Don’t let your first glimpse of the property fool you. Room was nice and clean, and the view from the patio is just fantastic! Every evening, multiple deer would come right up to the building to eat. Beds were comfortable, and everything in the kitchen worked just fine. The Guadalupe River runs just behind the property, so you can literally walk to it and get in! The pool is also in great shape and also has two hot tubs. We enjoyed our stay, and will not look anywhere else when coming back to this area. Rented through River City Resorts and had no complaints. Their staff were very friendly and helpful. It was a perfect stay for our river trip!

Anniversary weekend

"The grounds and condo were great. Location was perfect . Pool and river front were spectacular . We came in from a day at Schlitterbahn on Saturday and tried to sit outside in the balcony and eat supper and some of the neighbors thought we wanted to listen to their music ????so loud and obnoxious . Should be a restriction on the noise. Didn’t bother to call anyone to get it stopped . Just disrespectful

" It was clean. Hot upon arrival though.
Would be really nice for a sidewalk or paved path to the river and not grass.
Bedroom w queen bed could use more sturdy support
Coffee pot needed to be cleaned - the bath tub in the master room
is very slippery and caved inward, it was very akward to shower in
Lots of people brought their dog wish i would've brought mine
On saturday night, about 8:30 ish there were too many party crowds, they were drinking spilling beer in the pool and cussing around my 12 yr old so we went back inside..
i am type of person to look past that and avoid that situation but i would stay again
Its close to schlitterbahn. Like literally 2min
Its close to HEB.. about 9min drive
Kitchen had plenty of cookware etc... there was no detergent for my stay

We would like to apologize for the rudeness of some of the guests and wish that we could guarantee that all guests would mind their manners and abide by the HOA rules. River City Resorts has a no pets policy unless we have owners who very specifically wish to allow pets. Many owner do not want pets due to allergies of guests and to possible damages caused by pets in unfamiliar locations. We declare on our arrival information email, what items will be provided (laundry detergent is not provided) and suggested items to bring for the comfort of a guests stay. We hope to see you back soon!

"Over all the condo was comfortable. It was stocked well with all amenities. The bathrooms and kitchen were clean, the beds were clean and very comfortable (best bed in a condo ever!). Unfortunately on first walk-in the walls, doors and light switches, the rug in living-room were all very dirty and worn. There were dirty hand prints and drywall damage on nearly every wall. The parking was also VERY congested at night. There is only one marked parking spot and the second is wherever you can find one. We had to park our second car in the street one night. It is a good setup (2/2 w balcony, nice "backyard" and pool w hot tub) and location (on Guadalupe and very near Schlitterbahn close to downtown). I think for $391/night (fees included) these few things should be addressed. I give it 3.5 stars overall because the bed was comfortable, it was "clean" and a good location, but the owner needs to give it some TLC and the management needs to address parking issues. I would probably rent it again but with lower expectations.

A Week in Waterwheel F-202

"So overall a good experience. We loved the modern feel of the unit, the view out the living area towards the large open lawn & pool (saw multiple deer throughout our stay), and it's location relative to Schlitterbahn (5 blocks away). With that said, we ran into an issue with the wifi not working properly, which River City Resorts promptly fixed...sent a repairman to assess the situation and got us up & running that day (outdated router). The main issue/problem we encountered was the quality of bed in the second, smaller bedroom. If you breathed wrong, the bed creaked...loudly. And we discovered the neighbors above us would leave a dog during the day in their unit that would yelp frequently. Also, I had a personal beef with being required to wear a wristband that was handwritten on by the River City Resort staff...felt like I was at a camp for 11 year olds wearing it all week. There has to be a better system.

Due to the wonderful grounds of Waterwheel, the HOA has experienced many people trespassing on the grounds and taking advantage of the open lawn and pool. The HOA has all property managements issue wristbands to all guests for security purposes and to verify that all the guests (and owners who have yellow removable bands) are permitted onsite. We apologize for the inconvenience, but are working under the rules of the HOA.

"Where do I begin? This condo was very nice from the beginning. Had an issue with the sofa bed, like sleeping in a hole, but the overall stay was great. All the amenities of home & then some. Beautiful property, pool & hot tub. The location was perfect, for multiple activities. We enjoyed Wonder World, Schlitterbaun & was close enough to San Antonio to spend a day at Six Flag Fiesta Texas. Again I say, AWESOME! Fun for the whole family. We will return.

Nice Place To Stay

"We really enjoyed this Condo it was very nice. The company that rented the place where very helpful and nice. They gave us inter tubes to use for free for the week. The pool and hot tubs where really nice. We really enjoyed being able to float down the river in back of the condo, we just had to walk a few blocks up to a park and get in to the river and float down to the condo. Also we liked how close it was to schlitterbahn water park, we just walked to the water park. If we ever come back I would defiantly stay here again. It was a really nice place to stay.
