This 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo sleeps and allows 5 guests maximum.
Master Bedroom: Queen

Fully furnished with bathing towels, bed linens, cookware, a standard drip coffee maker, dishwasher, washer/dryer, TV's and more!
Property grills are located down the green area with picnic tables going down toward the second pool and Guadalupe River access.

Water Wheel Resort Condominiums sits on Guadalupe Riverfront property with 2 Pools and 4 Hot tubs!
-Sitting on the relaxing bank of the Guadalupe River you can get a 20-minute float in by walking 5 minutes over to River Acres Parks off of the Common Street Bridge, get in, and float down to the private Water Wheel Resort riverbank (make sure you’re wearing the property specific wristband!) and repeat for free all day long!
-Take advantage of the beautiful green area on property, bring some lawn chairs to sit and have a day on the riverbank with the convenience of staying on property for lunch and bathroom breaks.
-A quick 10-minute walk to the Schlitterbahn East -Blastenhoff entrance! Pack your cooler, and sunscreen, and don't have to deal with finding a parking spot!
- Walk with your tubes and cooler for about 15 minutes to Prince Solms Park/Hinman Island Park for public access to the Comal River and Tube Chute, jump in and float down to the last public exit (corner of S Union and Lincoln St) About a 2 hour float! Walk back to Water Wheel about 15 minutes!
--Take a brisk 20 minute walk to nearby restaurants or stroll further into downtown New Braunfels to enjoy more local restaurants, bars and breweries, shop in our quaint boutiques, and get strudel in the oldest bakery in Texas, Naegelin's Bakery!
- If you want to float a long portion of the Guadalupe River, we advise you to drive to Rockin R to rent THEIR tubes and use their shuttle service.
-And, Gruene, Texas with the world-famous Gruene Hall and delicious restaurants such as Gruene River Grill and The Gristmill are only a 10-minute drive away!

Places we recommend that are within a 10-20 minute walk to and from the complex:
Restaurants: Pats Place, Tin Top Burgers, Union Street Station, Muck & Fuss, New Braunfels Coffee, The Mess Around, Naegelin's Bakery, Bootlegger Pizza, Krause’s Café, McAdoos Seafood, Myrons Prime Steakhouse.
Bars/Night Life: The Oyster Bar, Calahans Pub & Pizza, Black Whale Pub, Moonshine & Ale, Phoenix Saloon, Scores Sports Bar, The Pour Haus, Downtown Social.

Must be 25 or older to book, kids are welcome with a parent/legal guardian.
Renter's ID and Credit Card must be presented to receive check-in information.
Occupancy is not to be exceeded at any time. No daytime guests are allowed.

Pet-Friendly unit with the following fees: 2 pets max.
$25/day/pet, $60 Pet Cleaning fee, $500 Pet Deposit 7-10 business days after your departure

Wristbands and Parking Passes are enforced at this property.
Each condo will receive wristbands per maximum occupancy, which must be worn at all times while on property and 2 parking passes. Renters are guaranteed 1 marked parking spot close to the front door of the condo while second-vehicle parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis anywhere unmarked on property. Overflow parking is first-come, first-served on Mather St. running parallel to the condo complex.

Security guards are enforced on premises.

Pet Friendly Rentals

While many of our properties adhere to a strict “No Pets” policy, a select number of our properties welcome dogs and are advertised as “Pet Friendly.” Any guest found with a pet in a property that is not pet friendly or approved will be required to vacate the premises without refund and with an automatic $500 fine to the credit card on file. This policy is strictly enforced as some property owners and guests have severe pet allergies and dander in a home listed as non-pet-friendly could cause serious health problems.

"It was a very nice and clean condo, great location for our Schlitterbahn day trip. Blackout curtains would be nice but otherwise great rental! For the property itself, very nice and clean. Would be nice to have easier river access, maybe stairs or handrail down to the river. My dad couldn't get all the way down to the river due to the steepness of the hill to get there. Also, the sprinklers on the less steep pathway to the river were on all day so it was very muddy and slippery by the afternoon. We didn't realize there was an elevator in the building until halfway through which would've been nice to know since we were on the 3rd floor. It was a nice part of the river, very shaded and not too deep, great for sitting and relaxing. We enjoyed our stay!

New Braufels Girls Trip

"We had an excellent time. The facility was very nice and centrally located. Loved being close enough to walk to the river. Condo was very nice, very clean and very modern. I probably would rent a different unit next time because the bunk beds didn't work for us and they could have used ceiling fans in the bedrooms. We would definitely be back to this resort!

Weekend getaway

"We enjoyed the unit very much. The bed were comfortable, the condo itself was very roomy, the 2nd bedroom is set up very well to accommodate children and adults. Everything is updated and the furnishings were great.
Complaints would be lack of toiletries provided. We’ve stayed in different units in the complex and were provided with shampoo, conditioner and more soap, this unit didn’t provide shampoo or conditioner and only 1 small bar of soap per bathroom. With multiple people using each bathroom the soap provided wasn’t sufficient. The water pressure in the showers also needs to be addressed.

Overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay in this unit again.

We are glad that you enjoyed the unit! All of the condos out at Waterwheel are individually owned and managed by different vacation property managers. Different companies and or owners place in different toiletry items. 2 days prior to a guests' arrival, we send out an email with suggested items to bring and toiletries is on that list. We will send out maintenance to look into the water pressure and appreciate you letting us know about the issue.

"The place was really nice, very clean, and well kept. Nice location, right on the river with nice pools as well. However, I wish there were more cleaning supplies and towels in order to do dishes and laundry. It was stated to bring your own laundry, but didn’t find that out till we arrived.

Not a Value...

"This was not a bad experience. It just did not live up to the price paid. The rate worked out to be $284 per night. The unit was nicely decorated and had a nice balcony and it was clean, mostly. What was not clean were the bathroom floors, bar b que grill was full of used charcoal, and various dishes were not clean though in cabinets. The outside of the building left a lot to be desired, just not much curb appeal. The location was darn good with a lot of activities in close proximity. I recommend not using the parking space reserved for the unit. Though it is in a great location, the tree drops sap and that sap has damaged the hood of my new truck. Park elsewhere. Also, bring your sleeping mask. The window in the bedroom looks out to a common area. This area is well lit at night, which is good. What is not good is the light shines in the bed room all night. No need for a night light here. All in all, it is a mixed review. The bang was short for the bucks paid. Would not recommend at this price.
