Water Wheel Resort Condominiums sits on Guadalupe Riverfront property with 2 Pools and 4 Hot tubs!
-Sitting on the relaxing bank of the Guadalupe River you can get a 20-minute float in by walking 5 minutes over to River Acres Parks off of the Common Street Bridge, get in, and float down to the private Water Wheel Resort riverbank (make sure you’re wearing the property specific wristband!) and repeat for free all day long!
-Take advantage of the beautiful green area on property, bring some lawn chairs to sit and have a day on the riverbank with the convenience of staying on property for lunch and bathroom breaks.
-A quick 10-minute walk to the Schlitterbahn East -Blastenhoff entrance! Pack your cooler, and sunscreen, and don't have to deal with finding a parking spot!
- Walk with your tubes and cooler for about 15 minutes to Prince Solms Park/Hinman Island Park for public access to the Comal River and Tube Chute, jump in and float down to the last public exit (corner of S Union and Lincoln St) About a 2 hour float! Walk back to Water Wheel about 15 minutes!
--Take a brisk 20 minute walk to nearby restaurants or stroll further into downtown New Braunfels to enjoy more local restaurants, bars and breweries, shop in our quaint boutiques, and get strudel in the oldest bakery in Texas, Naegelin's Bakery!
- If you want to float a long portion of the Guadalupe River, we advise you to drive to Rockin R to rent THEIR tubes and use their shuttle service.
-And, Gruene, Texas with the world-famous Gruene Hall and delicious restaurants such as Gruene River Grill and The Gristmill are only a 10-minute drive away!
Places we recommend that are within a 10-20 minute walk to and from the complex:
Restaurants: Pats Place, Tin Top Burgers, Union Street Station, Muck & Fuss, New Braunfels Coffee, The Mess Around, Naegelin's Bakery, Bootlegger Pizza, Krause’s Café, McAdoos Seafood, Myrons Prime Steakhouse.
Bars/Night Life: The Oyster Bar, Calahans Pub & Pizza, Black Whale Pub, Moonshine & Ale, Phoenix Saloon, Scores Sports Bar, The Pour Haus, Downtown Social.
Must be 25 or older to book, kids are welcome with a parent/legal guardian.
Renter's ID and Credit Card must be presented to receive check-in information.
Occupancy is not to be exceeded at any time. No daytime guests are allowed.
Pet-Friendly unit with the following fees: 2 pets max.
$25/day/pet, $60 Pet Cleaning fee, $500 Pet Deposit 7-10 business days after your departure
*If you are bringing a pet, please be sure to add it to the message when booking, so we can apply pet fees.
Wristbands and Parking Passes are enforced at this property.
Each condo will receive wristbands per maximum occupancy, which must be worn at all times while on property and 2 parking passes. Renters are guaranteed 1 marked parking spot close to the front door of the condo while second-vehicle parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis anywhere unmarked on property. Overflow parking is first-come, first-served on Mather St. running parallel to the condo complex.
Security guards are enforced on premises.
Monthly Rates in our Low Season are available!
While many of our properties adhere to a strict “No Pets” policy, a select number of our properties welcome dogs and are advertised as “Pet Friendly.” Any guest found with a pet in a property that is not pet friendly or approved will be required to vacate the premises without refund and with an automatic $500 fine to the credit card on file. This policy is strictly enforced as some property owners and guests have severe pet allergies and dander in a home listed as non-pet-friendly could cause serious health problems.

We apologize for the confusion in regards to your understanding of the app. When guests pay at least their deposit, a contract is automatically issued to the guest to sign. In the contract is the information to download the Glad to Have You Hospitality App as that is how we manage our communication with the guests. The app does provide all the necessary information such as address, wifi and pool codes and can be shared with other guests in the party. Unfortunately, many guests do not read in full, contracts that they sign which can create some confusion. Again, we extend our apologies and are glad that you found the facility to your liking and that you had a great time!

We are glad that you found the unit VERY clean. We do walk thrus prior to guest arrival and the TV was working correctly on the walk thru. Maintenance responded twice onsite for guest user error issue with the TV. The guest was shown how to use the one remote needed to operate the TV and maintenance even sent the office a video of the TV working. In regards to compensation, that was never communicated to the guest. Typically discounts are not offered for user error.

Glad you had a fabulous weekend! We have 3 HEB's now here in town and on the weekends in the summer, all 3 would be about 20 minutes from any of our properties and crowded to boot! But that new HEB Plus is an adventure in itself! Bring that large family back next year!
