Tubing Info

COMAL RIVER ACCESS:
River Access wristbands are required in the summer months on Saturdays and Sundays only (& Holidays) which are valid for one day’s use only. If you plan on floating both days, you will need specific color wristbands for each day.

In January 2016, the City of New Braunfels established a River Management Fee to help fund river operations including Police Services, Park Ranger Services, Litter and Trash Removal, and the Time of Multiple Staff Members Throughout The Year. The fee is assessed ONLY to Non-Residents since Residents already help to fund river operations through their property taxes.

If you are a Non-Resident using private property to enter or exit the river while tubing, but will still utilize public land to get on or off of the river, you will need a wristband to be in compliance with the ordinance.
