River Road Ice House – Copper Chief
The River Road Ice House, a popular speakeasy on the north end of town, will be hosting three Texas-based country bands on New Year’s Eve. The lineup includes Austin’s Copper Chief, hometown kids Midnight River Choir, and New Braunfels’ own Austin Gilliam. Copper Chief landed on the scene in 2017 and is quickly becoming a sensation here in South Texas. Their self-proclaimed “rock’n’roll country soul music” will be the night’s exclamation point. Arrive early because Midnight River Choir’s “Soul Food” is a groovy, favorite track among locals.
