Tune Into A Fun Musical Affair
During the late summer months and into fall, three different events offer fantastic musical opportunities.
From the beginning of May through mid-September, join KNBT 92.1 FM Radio New Braunfels and various artists for a fun night of drinks, tunes, and shenanigans every Friday at Gruene Hall. Special guests drop by for interviews while the radio station spins tunes, live in-house, all evening.
On Sunday evenings, head down to Lucas Taylor’s Sunday Evening Songfest at Phoenix Saloon. Enjoy a mix of “bluesy” tunes performed by weekly guest from early August through the end of September.
One event that will make you want to pick up a guitar and learn how to play is the Annual San Antonio Area Vintage Guitar & Instrument Show at the New Braunfels Civic/Convention Center. Taking place every September, this event is one that any musician will want to attend. Find everything from the hottest new strings to antiques once strummed by the greats as well as custom crafted and hand-painted instruments you cannot find anywhere else.
